Maison et Objet Paris has just closed its doors, but its captivating atmosphere will stay with us a bit longer until our next reunion in January 2019. So far we would like to share the best moments and inspirations that this international trade fair brought to us in the last couple of days. Here are the best highlights of Maison et Objet 2018.
First of all, the event will be remembered by the welcoming climate of the city: the streets were full of banners and placards inviting you to join the red carpet on your way to the best selection of novelty items by the leading professionals in the area of design.
Secondly, the organization of the trade show was on the highest level with every visitor being provided with informative guides on what to discover during the Paris Design Week.
No doubt expositions with the most peculiar product ideas made the most indelible impression. This September the visitors encountered the impressive variety of booth display with the most unusual decorative elements. Bizzare creatures and natural motifs predominated the fair.
Interior design booths were both ethereal and scrupulous, from a dreamlike contemporary design by Swiss furniture brand Vitra to hospitality business solutions from the ambitious Portuguese Covet Group showcasing modern furniture design.
Stonehenge – a statement piece and one of the most striking modern dining tables by Boca do Lobo – was evidently the center of mass attraction.
Impressive exhibitor list made the final chord in the best highlights of Maison et Objet Paris: the event brought together the representatives from each continent.
