The project started when the client asked us to design one room. When my team and I took the time to dig into how they were living in this space, the concept turned into the entire home. Our goals: that the home feel light, livable, and assembled over time.
This Chicago high-rise was all about the view and the young family that lives there. The client was very open to mixing antique French furniture with modern accents and needed a backdrop that was harmonious with their art collection. And the dining room is just perfect!
Working in Atlanta for the first time with a vibrant blended family meant we had to pay attention to every element we added to the home. It started with a gut renovation of the existing house. Phase two was filling it with bright joyful and well-chosen things.

The client purchased an amazing old Georgian as their very first house, and designing each room to accommodate their expanding family was so much fun. Their innate, casual vibe and appreciation for a mix of vintage and catalog pieces made for both a unique and approachable home.
Everything in this classic Arizona home was selected with the client’s three young children in mind. They really wanted a home that was comfortable; yet, refined and layered. To achieve this, we reached for durable upholstery, surfaces and finishes; highlighted with time-worn antiques that do not feel too precious.
The majority of things in this apartment came from my first trip to Mexico City, still one of my favorite places to source for vintage furniture, contemporary photographs and paintings. The building was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, and was the first time that I’d personally lived in such a modern space.
Great colors, funky lamp, gorgeous metal dining table. How about this marvelous wallpaper? Astonishing, huh?!
As you can see, the color, furniture changes and bold accessories have given me a whole new space. Once again, Nate Berkus totally nailed it!
